Cheyenne Farms Equine Center is please to introduce Scot Hanson, D.V.M and offer a special thanks to Dr. Scot Hanson for his contributions to the care and welfare of animals with his veterinary service.

D. Scot G. Hanson, D.V.M.

Dr. Hanson is a 1992 graduate of The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Before coming to Newnan, he spent two years with a practice in Lawrenceburg , TN and four years as an equine practitioner in Northern Virginia . He has also completed the Embryo Transfer Course at Colorado State University .

Dr. Hanson has a lifetime of experience with horses, having his first pony at age 5. He is a graduate HA of U.S. Pony Club. He has evented at the Preliminary level and was a member of the UT Equestrian Team. Dr. Hanson has also served as the Whipper-In of the Tennessee Valley Hunt and played polo with Sassafras Polo Club.
